The largest wildfire in Texas history, the Smokehouse Creek Fire started on Feb. 26 and eventually burned more than 1 million acres in the northeastern Texas panhandle. It then spilled into the nearby Windy Deuce fire, which burned nearly 150,000 additional acres. According to officials, the SmokeHouse Creek Fire was responsible for at least two deaths, destroyed more than 500 structures and killed countless livestock. It also decimated grasslands critical to the state’s cattle ranchers.

Proceeds from the event will support those affected by the two fires in the Texas panhandle through the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Disaster Relief Fund. The TSCRA is a 147-year-old trade association and is the largest and oldest livestock organization based in Texas.
